Sauvie Island is about 45 minutes away and is a great place to play in the warm river water while enjoying a nice sandy beach. Its a great alternative to the freezing cold waters of the ocean! We went with some friends and had a great time!

We also went on our annual camping trip to Fort Stevens with my brother, his wife and their 2 kids. They kids play so well together and have such a great time! We love it there!
