I know, I know......it has been awhile once again since I posted!! We had a fun little escape from the rainy weather back in October to the warm sunny weather of California. Visited Legoland for the first time. If you have been considering going...and you have kids (especially boy's) between the ages of 4-8ish) go now! It was the best place for kids that age. Found a great deal from the Life ceral box where the kids got in for free with an adult admission. Way to go Life ceral! Yay! And just on that note.....kids get in free during the month of October to any of San Diego area zoos....
Here are our captives! Nice face there Jake!
Mike was the only brave one on this ride. It basically went in every direction possible. There is no way you could talk me into this ride. It was pretty fun listening to Mike's reaction while being jerked around everywhere.
Why I loved legoland for the age of my kids.....1. Pretty much every ride was not scary. 2. There were lego building and play stations next to any of the long type rides that allowed kids to play while the adults wait in line. GENIUS!! Disney needs to pick up on that one. 3. There were no lines by going in October. 4. There was a lot more to do then just rides 5. They had an amazing lego town display that is crazy amazing (did I say amazing already) well it was amazing!
Oh..MIke feeling a little sad huh? Well, we found a friend for you!
Pretty close resemblance huh? Since when did we have a little girl?
One of my favorite shots of Jake. Can you believe Darth Maal is built out of legos???
This was fun! Oceanside California. One of the greatest boogie boarding places we have been. The weather was amazing for our first couple of days on the beach in October.
Jake LOVES boogie boarding almost as much as his Dad. It was so cute watching them boogie board together for hours. Even rented Jake a wetsuit for 5 bucks to help keep him warm. The water was still way warmer then Oregon's beaches but a little chilly after awhile.
I will have to post Disnneyland pictures another time. All in all...a fun trip. We were also so glad that my Mom came along. It was great to have another adult to help with kids, luggage, getting fast passes (especially for Carsland) and having fun.
